Job description

The Nursing Officer will be responsible for delivering safe, ethical, and patient-focused nursing care across assigned clinical areas. The candidate should have strong nursing knowledge, good patient communication, clinical discipline, and the ability to coordinate with doctors, senior nurses, diagnostic teams, pharmacy, billing, and patient care departments. This also requires support in OPD workflow, ECG assistance, OT-related coordination, patient education, and proper documentation.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care and OPD nursing support to patients.
• Monitor vital signs, patient condition, oxygen saturation, pain level, and treatment response.
• Assist with ECG, operation theatre support, minor procedures, dressing, and doctor round activities.
• Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, oxygen, and prescribed nursing care safely.
• Maintain nursing notes, medication charts, patient records, and shift handover documentation.
• Coordinate with doctors, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, billing, and patient care teams.
• Follow infection control, hand hygiene, PPE, medication safety, and biomedical waste protocols.
• Educate patients and relatives about basic care instructions under guidance.
• Report abnormal vitals, patient deterioration, or clinical changes immediately.
• Ensure safe, respectful, and compassionate nursing care.
