The Private Ward Nursing Officer will be responsible for delivering professional, compassionate, and personalized nursing care to patients admitted in private ward areas. This includes patient monitoring, medication administration, documentation, doctor coordination, discharge support, and patient‑attendant communication. The candidate should have strong bedside nursing skills, service orientation, infection control awareness, and the ability to maintain comfort, privacy, and high‑quality patient experience.

• Provide direct nursing care to patients admitted in private ward rooms.
• Monitor patient vitals, symptoms, treatment response, pain level, and general condition regularly.
• Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, and prescribed treatments safely and accurately.
• Assist doctors during rounds, examinations, procedures, and patient care activities.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes, medication charts, intake‑output records, and patient documentation.
• Prepare patients for investigations, procedures, transfers, admissions, and discharge processes.
• Communicate politely with patients and attendants regarding care instructions and hospital processes.
• Coordinate with pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, billing, housekeeping, and other departments.
• Report any change in patient condition immediately to doctors or senior nursing staff.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, dignity, and emotional support during hospital stay.
• Follow infection control practices, hand hygiene, PPE usage, and biomedical waste guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and readiness of patient rooms, nursing stations, and equipment.
• Support discharge planning by coordinating reports, medicines, instructions, and patient education.
• Check availability of medicines, consumables, equipment, and nursing supplies during duty.
• Promote patient satisfaction, safe care, and professional nursing standards in the private ward.
