Job summary

Café Coffee Day invites applications for Engineer Quality to NPI Quality Department in Karnataka. Role focuses on PPAP document preparation, FAIR inspection, and ensuring ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and AS9100 compliance for both product and process. Reports to NPI Quality Head.

Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering is required; 3–4 years experience preferred in molding/stamping & assembly. On-site work with strong documentation and QA activities expected.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years experience in molding, stamping and assembly preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and AS9100 standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist NPI QA HOD in all NPI quality related activities.
• Maintain master list of documents with latest revision status.
• Coordinate production and shipment of first article products.
• Develop corrective and preventive actions from non-conformities.

Job Description for Engineer NPI Quality

Role: Engineer Quality to NPI Quality Department, responsible for PPAP documents preparation, FAIR Inspection, ensuring Quality compliance of the systems for products as well as Process for certifications viz., ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and shall be reporting to NPI Quality Head.

Qualification:

Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

3 to 4 Years (Preferred from Molding/Stamping & Assy Industry).

Skills required:

• Verification of customer drawings and standards and conducting the feasibility study
• Preparing all the PPAP documents as per customer requirement
• Assisting HOD in all NPI quality related activities
• Verifying the FAIR reports and forwarding to QA Head for approval
• Compiling and publishing the weekly & monthly NPI QA reports
• Receiving the ECR from customer and completing the change process through ECN
• Preparing the process qualification documents
• Sharing the FAIR & PPAP documents to customer and getting the PSW sign off
• Preparing Work Instructions & SOP
• Uploading the NPI & Engineering related documents in the share folder
• Familiar with ISO-9001,IATF-16949 & AS9100 standard and documentation

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist NPI QA HOD in all NPI quality related activities.
• Maintains master list of all documents with the latest revision status.
• Initiate production permit.
• Co-ordinates production and shipment of first article products
• Formulates and Co-ordinates corrective and preventive action based on non-conformities during development
• Prepare and maintains Quality Inspection Plan/ Checklists in respective areas.
• Control and monitors pilot production and preparation of PPAP docs
• Statistical Quality Control in respective areas and Prepare control charts.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹36,000.00 per hour
