Job summary

Wellopia is seeking a New Product Development (NPD) Lead in Bengaluru to steer the end-to-end NPD lifecycle, building a robust innovation pipeline and translating insights into commercially viable products. You will collaborate across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Design, Marketing and Operations to drive formulation, packaging, pricing and launch readiness.

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required or preferred.
• MBA or postgraduate qualification is preferred.
• 58+ years of experience in New Product Development, Product Innovation, Product Management, or Category Management.
• Experience in D2C, FMCG, Nutraceuticals, Healthcare, Consumer Goods, or Wellness industries is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete NPD lifecycle; build the innovation pipeline; identify market trends and consumer insights; develop commercially viable product concepts.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Procurement, Design, Marketing and Operations; drive formulation, packaging, pricing and positioning; ensure compliance and launch readiness.
• Manage timelines, budgets, resources, external manufacturers, suppliers and packaging partners while proactively mitigating risks.
• Conduct competitor benchmarking, analyze consumer feedback, monitor post-launch performance and recommend improvements.
• Lead and mentor the NPD team, present innovation roadmaps and business cases, and champion cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
