Job summary

Titan Company Limited Tanishq is seeking an Executive – NPD to support end-to-end New Product Development for the jewellery business in Bengaluru. You will coordinate with Design, Product, NPI, Factory, Vendors and ISCM to ensure timely development and launch of new jewellery products.

The role involves maintaining NPD dashboards, tracking stage-gate progress, validating costs, and acting as the single point of contact for NPD activities with internal teams and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in NPD, Jewellery Merchandising, Product Development, Buying, or Vendor Management.
• Experience in the jewellery industry will be preferred.
• Good understanding of product development and vendor coordination processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the end-to-end NPD process from design brief to product launch.
• Coordinate with Design, Product, NPI, Factory, and Vendor teams for timely development of new products.
• Track prototype development and ensure timely completion as per agreed timelines.
• Coordinate for PDIS release for new product introductions.
• Validate Gold Content, AMC, and crafting charges for new products.
• Maintain NPD dashboards and track stage-gate progress across product development.
• Act as the SPOC for NPD-related activities and ensure timely communication with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Category and Vendor teams for vendor pick-ups and product development requirements.
• Monitor prototype inventory and support proto-bin liquidation.
• Support the implementation and effective usage of the NPD portal across vendors.
• Maintain accurate product data, including design attributes, complexity, costing, and other product parameters.
• Provide support for NPIM and other new product introduction activities.
• Identify process gaps and support initiatives to improve NPD efficiency and turnaround time.
• Prepare regular MIS, dashboards, and status reports for management review.
