Job Title: Node.js & Python Architect

Experience: 12 - 18 Years
Location: Bengaluru

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Node.js & Python Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance, secure, and cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, Python, microservices architecture, distributed systems, API development, and cloud technologies. The candidate will be responsible for defining architectural standards, driving technology decisions, and leading engineering teams in delivering robust enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive end-to-end application architecture using Node.js, Python, and modern backend technologies.
• Design and develop scalable, resilient, and high-performance applications using microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Build and govern RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, and enterprise integration solutions.
• Leverage Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django for backend services and API development.
• Drive architectural design, technology selection, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Design asynchronous processing, messaging, caching, and distributed systems solutions.
• Lead cloud-native application development, modernization, deployment, and scalability initiatives.
• Ensure application security, performance optimization, reliability, maintainability, and high availability.
• Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, DevOps, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor senior developers and technical leads while establishing coding standards and architectural governance.

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in Node.js, Python, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or Fastify.
• Strong proficiency in Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Extensive experience in microservices architecture, distributed systems, design patterns, and domain-driven design (DDD).
• Expertise in RESTful APIs, GraphQL, API gateways, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Knowledge of messaging and streaming technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS/SNS.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with application monitoring, logging, distributed tracing, performance tuning, and production troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of secure coding practices, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and OWASP security principles.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with serverless computing and cloud-native application architecture.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture, CQRS, and event sourcing.
• Exposure to AI/GenAI, LLM integrations, or AI-enabled application development using Python.
• Experience integrating backend services with data platforms, AI services, and third-party systems.
• Experience in enterprise application modernization and large-scale platform development.
• Strong stakeholder management, architectural communication, and technical leadership skills.

Candidate Profile:

• 1218 years of overall software engineering experience, with substantial hands-on expertise in both Node.js and Python.
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications and backend platforms.
• Ability to balance hands-on technical leadership with architecture strategy and governance.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
