Job summary

SRM Technologies in Chennai is seeking a proactive NOC + SOC Analyst (L1) to monitor, troubleshoot, and respond to infrastructure and security alerts across network, cloud, and endpoints.

You will perform triage, incident creation in ITSM tools, escalation to L2, and contribute to incident response and reporting while maintaining thorough documentation and adherence to SLAs.

Responsibilities

Seeking a proactive NOC + SOC Analyst (L1)to monitor, troubleshoot, and respond to infrastructure and security alerts.The role will support network, cloud, endpoint, and security operations whileensuring adherence to SLAs and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network, cloud, server, and security environments usingmonitoring and SIEM tools.
  
• Perform initial triage and troubleshooting of operational andsecurity incidents.
  
• Analyze alerts from firewalls, EDR/XDR, SIEM, VPN, and cloudplatforms.
  
• Create, update, and manage incidents through ITSM tools.
  
• Escalate critical incidents and security events to L2 teams asper defined procedures.
  
• Support incident response, service restoration, and shifthandovers.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation and operational reports.
  

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Routing &Switching.
  
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux, Active Directory, Azure, andAWS.
  
• Understanding of SIEM, EDR/XDR, Firewall, IDS/IPS, and EndpointSecurity concepts.
  
• Hands-on exposure to tools such as ServiceNow, Splunk,Microsoft Sentinel, SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar monitoring platforms.
  
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity threats, log analysis, andincident management.
  

Preferred Certifications

• ITIL 4 Foundation
• SC-900 / Security+
• AZ-900 or AWS Cloud Practitioner
• CCNA (Preferred)
• Zscaler Foundations Certification (Added Advantage)
