GTPL Hathway is seeking a Network Operations Center professional to monitor all network nodes, log upstream incidents, and coordinate with field teams and ISPs to restore services quickly. The role includes configuring devices (Switches, OLT, ONU) and resolving basic issues while contributing to 24x7 on-call rotations.
Candidates should have Diploma or BE/BTech in IT/CS/ECE and a solid understanding of OSI/TCP-IP, VLAN, STP/MSTP, VTP, DNS, and DHCP.
Proactive Monitoring of all network nodes across any shift.
Upstream Monitoring/Call logging Follow ups with Different Teams. Upstream Escalation within Teams and with respective ISP to attain minimum downtime.
Responsible for Link and node outage complete communication with field teams and seniors.
Configuration of the Network Devices (Switches, OLT, ONU) as per requirement.
Capability to isolate and resolve basic network issues of speed slow, loop, CRC, Website etc.
Assures the NOC meets the Service Level Agreement by getting outage restored timely.
Maintain ISP bandwidth usage report and outage report.
Maintain RFO of network node outage and core ring links outages. Documenting all reported and attended issues.
Closely monitor Network outage and issues, Report Delay and Follow up for Resolution.
Desired Qualification: Sound theoretical knowledge of OSI layer, TCP/IP stack, Switching- VLAN, STP, MSTP, VTP and basic Routing required. know-how of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, wired devices and wireless network connectivity. Participate in a 24x7 on-call duty rotation, willing to work in shifts. Willing to learn from and extend support to L1 and L2 teams.
