Short Information

NLC India Limited (NLCIL), a “Navratna” Public Sector Enterprise, invites online applications from eligible candidates residing in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry for Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act, 1961. This is a golden opportunity for ITI passed candidates for Trade Apprenticeship and Engineering/Non-Engineering Graduates for Graduate Apprenticeship. This notification includes specific openings for Pharmacy Graduates. Interested candidates must apply online and submit their applications with necessary documents by October 27, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

General Eligibility Requirements

Age Limit Candidates must have completed 18 years of age as on April 01, 2025. (Date of birth on or before 01.04.2007).

Nationality Indian Nationals from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry only.

Educational Qualification As per specific apprenticeship trade/discipline (detailed below).

OBC Reservation OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate with validity from 01-04-2025 to 31-03-2026 must be submitted. BC/MBC certificates will not be accepted.

Prior Training Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961, are not eligible.

Employment Guarantee NLCIL does not guarantee permanent employment after completion of the apprenticeship training.

Mobile Number Linkage Applicant’s Aadhaar number must be linked with their mobile number to receive OTP for selection.

Monthly Stipend

Graduate Apprentices (B.Pharm) – Pharmacy (Graduate) Rs. 15,028/- per month (Of which Rs. 4500/- will be paid by Government under DBT scheme)

Graduate Apprentices (Other Disciplines: B.Com, B.Sc, BCA, BBA) Rs. 12,524/- per month (Of which Rs. 4500/- will be paid by Government under DBT scheme)

Duration of Training 12 Months for both Trade and Graduate Apprenticeship.
