Only candidates registered and approved on the National Apprenticeship Training scheme (NATS 2.0) web portal by BOAT will be considered. Ensure NATS registration is active before applying.

Eligibility, Stipend & Vacancy Details

HPCL offers a highly reputed 1-year training opportunity for freshers under the Apprentices Act, 1961. This program is purely for training and does not guarantee permanent employment.

Educational Qualification

• Streams: Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation
• Marks Required: 60% aggregate for UR/OBC-NC & 50% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates
• Graduation Year: Must have completed Engineering Graduation after 01-04-2023

Age Limit (as on 02-03-2026)

• Maximum Age: 25 Years

Monthly Stipend

Total Stipend: Rs. 25,000 per month (Rs. 20,500 paid by HPCL directly & Rs. 4,500 transferred by GOI via DBT Scheme).

Selection Methodology

1. Merit Screening: Applications will be screened based on the merit percentage (marks) in the engineering graduation degree matching against state-wise training slots.
2. Document Verification: Candidates will be called for document verification in order of merit in a ratio of 1:5 with respect to available slots. Shortlisted candidates are informed via email.
3. Medical & Police Verification: Selection is contingent on accepting the tri-partite apprenticeship contract on the NATS website, clearing the medical fitness parameters, and police verification.

Benefit Note: Apprentices who successfully complete the 1-year training will be accorded age relaxation and an additional 5% weightage of marks in the CBT of future direct recruitments in HPCL.
