IOCL Recruitment 2026 – Education and Qualification

Technician Apprentice: 3-year regular full-time Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline with minimum 50% marks for General, EWS and OBC-NCL candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates in reserved positions.
Trade Apprentice: Matriculation with a regular full-time 2-year ITI course in the relevant trade recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
Graduate Apprentice: Regular full-time Graduate degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks for General, EWS and OBC-NCL candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates in reserved positions.
Data Entry Operator (Fresher): Class 12th, but below graduate, with minimum 50% marks for General, EWS and OBC-NCL candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates in reserved positions.
Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders): Class 12th, but below graduate, along with a Domestic Data Entry Operator Skill Certificate for training of less than one year from a recognized awarding body/authority.
Mode of Study: The required qualification must be obtained through a regular full-time course. Part-time, correspondence and distance-learning qualifications are not eligible.
No Written Test or Interview: There will be no written examination or interview.
Merit-Based Selection: A merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification.
Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification.
Medical Fitness Test: Shortlisted candidates must complete the Pre-Engagement Medical Fitness Test.
Final Engagement: Candidates whose documents and medical fitness certificate are found in order will be issued an offer of engagement for Apprenticeship Training .

IOCL Recruitment 2026 – Salary and Future Growth
