Job summary

Del Monte Foods Private Limited in Gurugram invites an NPD professional to lead culinary-driven product development for domestic and international QSR customers. You will spearhead ideas from concept to commercialization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape exciting product applications and ensure market relevance.

The role offers hands-on formulation work, sensory evaluation, and rigorous testing, with opportunities to advance into senior NPD, R&D or culinary leadership paths

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of relevant experience in NPD / Food Product Development.
• Experience in culinary product development and working with QSR or Food Service customers.
• Strong understanding of formulation, sensory evaluation and product testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead culinary-led product development and build a pipeline of new, innovative products based on customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Key Accounts and Exports teams and work with QSR customers across domestic and international markets.
• Develop product applications and usage ideas in partnership with Marketing and Food Service teams.
• Gain hands-on experience in formulation, ingredients, specifications, sensory evaluation, stability testing and analytics.
• Drive product optimization, business continuity and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage multiple innovation projects, priorities and timelines with cross-functional teams.
• Grow into larger roles across NPD, R&D, Innovation, Culinary or Category/Business teams.
• Deliver products that translate into real market impact.

What we’re looking for:

Preferred Industry Exposure

Candidates with experience in the Culinary Product Development industry, Sauces & Condiments, Seasonings, QSR, Food Service or Culinary Product Development industry will be preferred.

Experience working with or developing products for large QSR, Food Service, Restaurant or Institutional customers will be an added advantage.

Experience

10–12 years of relevant experience in NPD / Food Product Development, preferably in a similar profile.

Educational Qualification

B.Sc. / M.Sc. / M.Tech. in Food Technology
