Ideal candidate has 3+ years in Food/Nutraceuticals, a BSc/MSc in Food Science or Technology, and strong regulatory knowledge (FSSAI, FDA). You will lead innovation, reformulation, and ensure compliant labeling, with emphasis on shelf-life testing and scale-up.

New Product Development (R&D)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced New Product Development (NPD) to lead our Research & Development. You will drive the creation of innovative products from concept to commercialization. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in the food and nutraceutical sectors, with a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks

Key Information

• Reporting To: Director
• Experience: 3+ years in Food, Nutraceuticals, or Pharmaceuticals
• Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Food Science or Food Technology
• Regulatory Focus: FSSAI (India) and US FDA (International)

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Innovation & Development

• Lead the formulation and development of new products in food and nutraceuticals.
• Reformulate existing products to improve taste, cost, nutrition, and shelf-life.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle from bench-top scale to commercial launch.
• Incorporate pharmaceutical precision into nutraceutical delivery systems where applicable.

2. Dosage & Format Formulation

• Develop stable formulations across all formats: powders, gummies, tablets, and beverages.
• Optimize active ingredient delivery, masking off-notes in functional beverages and gummies.
• Conduct rigorous stability and shelf-life testing for varied packaging formats

Regulatory & Quality Compliance

• Ensure all formulations comply with food and nutraceutical regulatory standards (e.g., FSSAI, FDA, or relevant local bodies).
• Review product labels, ingredient lists, and health claims for legal compliance.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of trials, stability studies, and raw material specs
• Approve compliant nutrition facts, supplement facts labels, and health claims.
• Prepare documentation for international regulatory filings and product registrations.

Education

• Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
