Job summary

TalentAhead in Pune District, Maharashtra, is seeking a seasoned Installation Operations Lead to supervise field installations of elevators and escalators, ensuring high-quality execution within timelines and strict safety standards.

You will coordinate resources, guide on-site teams, and maintain documentation, while collaborating with contractors and suppliers to align project requirements and foster strong customer relations.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics engineering.
• At least 5 years in elevator or manufacturing industry with strong project management and people skills.
• Ability to manage installation projects, ensure safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the on-site installation and modernization activities, ensuring all projects adhere to established schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and manage installation resources, delegating tasks to Fitters for the precise assembly of electrical and mechanical components incl. financial steering.
• Provide technical guidance to field teams, resolving any issues that arise during installations to maintain project continuity and quality.
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with operational policies, safety procedures, and high-quality standards.
• Ensure all installation documentation, including project plans, inspection reports, and compliance records, are accurately maintained and submitted in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate closely with contractors, suppliers, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and deliverables and maintain sustainable customer relationships and push supplementary sales.
• Lead and mentor installation teams, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement while addressing any team or individual performance issues.
