Profile Overview

We’re looking for a former entrepreneur or problem solver to join Rocketlane’s Founders Office and build a new function within the company. This team will act as a forward-deployed AI & automation implementation unit, working hands-on with customers to identify high-impact problems that can be solved with AI agents and automation solutions.

The role involves deep collaboration with our AI engineers, AI product team, sales, customer success, and founders to create meaningful outcomes for customers. Over time, the solutions developed by this team will be productized as AI-powered apps that extend the Rocketlane platform and can be integrated into our app marketplace or scaled across all customers.

This is a new function, meaning priorities may evolve, and we need someone comfortable with ambiguity, figuring things out on the go, and adapting to new challenges.

What will you do?

1. Build and lead a forward-deployed implementation team focused on AI and automation
2. Work closely with customers, sales, and customer success to identify high-impact customer problems that align with Rocketlane’s product vision
3. Collaborate with the AI product and engineering teams to scope, build, and test AI-powered automation solutions
4. Rapidly develop and demonstrate POCs that showcase how AI and automation can create measurable value for customers
5. Turn validated solutions into scalable AI-powered apps that extend Rocketlane’s platform
6. Define and track impact metrics for customer AI solutions, ensuring alignment with key business outcomes
7. Work in an iterative, fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and refining the function over time.

Who should apply?

1. Former founders and operators with at least 6+ years of experience building and scaling new initiatives.
2. Strong problem solvers with a track record of tackling ambiguous challenges and driving execution
3. Experience in AI-first products like conversational AI, enterprise AI, or automation solutions is a strong plus
4. Pre-sales experience in identifying customer problems, defining solutions, and building/demonstrating POCs
5. Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, product, sales, and customer teams
6. Ability to move fast, iterate quickly, and execute without much structure or hand-holding
7. Based in Chennai or willing to relocate and work from our office
