Job summary

Parvana seeks a Level 3 Security Engineer to design and support Netskope-based solutions in an in-office Cape Town environment. You will engage with sales teams, architect security controls, and manage vendors to deliver tailored network security architectures.

You will deploy and tune security tools including CrowdStrike and Mimecast, maintain DMARC/DKIM/SPF policies, and drive incident analysis with SOC teams. Strong mentoring skills are expected to stay current on threats.

Qualifications

• Proven Level 3 Engineer with Netskope or similar platforms (SWG, CASB, ZTNA, DLP).
• Experience supporting sales with technical scoping, architecture, and client presentations.
• Strong background managing firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation and email security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).

Responsibilities

• Assist sales teams with technical scoping, solution design, and client-facing presentations.
• Act as technical champion for Netskope and maintain vendor relationships.
• Design, configure, and maintain Netskope modules: NG-SWG, CASB, ZTNA, DLP.
• Deploy and tune CrowdStrike Falcon and Mimecast agents and integrate into SIEM/SOAR.
• Manage perimeter firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation within SASE.
• Lead incident root-cause analysis and mentor team members.
• Streamline log ingestion and alert telemetry into a centralized SIEM/SOAR.

What you will be doing:

• Assist sales teams with technical scoping, solution design, and client-facing presentations to architect tailored network security solutions.
• Act as the technical champion for Netskope and maintain strong strategic relationships with technology vendors.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction while consistently meeting client SLAs.
• Netskope SSE management - Design, configure, and maintain modules including NG-SWG, CASB, ZTNA, and DLP.
• Deploy and optimize CrowdStrike Falcon agents, including fine-tuning detection policies and managing threat exclusions.
• Administer Mimecast TTP, content filtering, and archiving, while maintaining security protocols like DMARC, DKIM, and SPF.
• Manage perimeter firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation, integrating controls within SASE architectures.
• Streamline log ingestion and alert telemetry from Netskope, CrowdStrike, and Mimecast into a centralized SIEM/SOAR platform.
• Serve as the final escalation point for incidents, conducting root-cause analysis and assisting SOC teams.
• Mentor team members, share technical knowledge, and maintain industry certifications to stay current on threats.

What our client is looking for:

• Proven experience as a Level 3 Engineer with expertise in configuring Netskope or similar platforms (Zscaler, Palo Alto Prisma Access), specifically covering SWG, CASB, ZTNA, and DLP.
• Strong background in supporting sales teams with technical scoping, solution architecture, and client-facing presentations.
• Solid experience managing perimeter firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation, alongside email security protocols like SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and Mimecast.
• Proficiency in managing tools like CrowdStrike Falcon or SentinelOne, including policy tuning and integrating alert data into centralized SIEM/SOAR platforms.
• Extensive Tier 3 support experience, including handling complex threats, performing root-cause analysis, and assisting SOC teams during incidents.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for mentoring technical teams and managing vendor relationships, paired with a commitment to maintaining certifications and active security policies.
