Job summary

SNS India is seeking a qualified network security professional to join our Chennai team. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot network security and switching solutions for diverse client environments.

The role requires hands-on FortiGate and FortiSwitch experience, strong TCP/IP knowledge, and the ability to work independently or with a team to deliver timely, reliable support and project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
• CCNA and EPSP certification, and strong hands-on FortiGate Administration skills.
• Willingness to travel locally, if required, for customer support activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network security and switching solutions.
• Provide technical support for customer network environments.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity and security issues.
• Perform routine health checks, monitoring, and maintenance of network devices.
• Coordinate with customers to understand requirements and provide timely resolutions.
• Document technical issues, configurations, and solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and support.
• Good hands-on experience with FortiGate, FortiSwitch, technologies.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and firewall concepts.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
