Job summary

Purview Services seeks an experienced Network Security Engineer to secure enterprise networks. You will manage Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer, while configuring VPNs and optimizing F5 Load Balancers for high availability.

Demonstrated leadership and mentorship will be valued in a 24/7 night-shift role across multiple Indian locations. Eligible candidates have 10+ years in network security, NSE 4/5/7, and strong hands-on skills with Fortinet and F5 technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of network security engineering experience with Fortinet FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer.
• Proven ability to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize F5 Load Balancers for high availability.
• Hands-on VPN configuration across IPsec, SSL, site-to-site and remote access.

Responsibilities

• Fortinet Firewall management for enterprise security and policy optimization.
• Manage FortiManager/ FortiAnalyzer for policy automation and logging.
• Design secure network architecture and conduct security assessments.

Good to have: Fortigate firewall/Zscaler/AWS(for C1 Band)

Shift: should be comfortable for 24/7 including night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Fortinet Firewall Management:

• Configure, manage, and maintain Fortinet Firewalls (FortiGate) for enterprise-grade security.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of FortiGate firewalls to resolve network security issues and optimize firewall policies and rule sets.

FortiManager & FortiAnalyzer:

• Utilize FortiManager to manage, configure, and automate firewall policies and rules across multiple FortiGate devices.
• Leverage FortiAnalyzer for log aggregation, reporting, and event analysis to proactively identify and mitigate security risks.

VPN Configuration & Troubleshooting:

• Configure and manage secure VPNs (IPsec, SSL VPN, site-to-site VPN, and remote access VPN) ensuring secure communication for remote users and sites.
• Diagnose and resolve VPN connectivity issues, performance degradation, and ensure high availability of VPN tunnels.

F5 Load Balancer Administration:

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot F5 Load Balancers to ensure high availability, scalability, and optimal performance for applications and services.
• Design, implement, and maintain load balancing configurations for internal and external applications, including SSL offloading, traffic distribution, and health checks.

Automation:

• Experience on Automation tools like Algosec and Appviewx

Network Security Design & Architecture:

• Design and implement security architecture for the organization's network, ensuring compliance with best practices and security standards.
• Perform security assessments and audits, recommending improvements to enhance overall network security posture\

Documentation & Reporting:

• Create detailed documentation for network security configurations, policies, and incident resolutions.
• Produce regular reports for senior management on security performance, network issues, and recommendations for improvements.

Mentorship & Leadership:

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with network, systems, and security teams to improve the organization's overall security posture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in network security engineering, with hands-on expertise in Fortinet Firewalls, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, VPN configuration, and F5 Load Balancers.
• In-depth knowledge of Fortinet products and their integration into enterprise environments.
• Proven experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing F5 Load Balancers for high-availability applications.
• Certifications:Fortinet NSE 4/5/7 certification is required.
• F5 Certified Technology Specialist (F5-CTS) or equivalent is a plus.
• Additional certifications such as Cisco CCNP Security, CompTIA Security+, or other security-related certifications are advantageous.

Technical Skills:

• Deep expertise in configuring and managing Fortinet Firewalls (FortiGate) and utilizing FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.
• Advanced knowledge of VPN protocols (IPsec, SSL, remote access, site-to-site).
• Hands-on experience with F5 Load Balancer administration and troubleshooting (SSL offloading, application traffic distribution, and high-availability setup).
• Experience with network automation using tools like Ansible, Python, or other scripting technologies.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools, SIEM solutions, and IDS/IPS technologie
