Insight Global is seeking a Network Ops Engineer to focus on the security environment of a customer's Global Network Services Delivery Team. You will plan, implement, oversee, and maintain critical technology platforms that support a large Fortune 500 chemical manufacturing client’s global operations.

You will provide hands‑on technical expertise and procedural guidance to ensure our infrastructure is robust, secure, and high‑performing.

Network Operations Engineer (Green Team)

Location:

Bangalore, India Tech District (12 days onsite per month)

Employment Type:

This is a full time position with Insight Global. You will be employed by Insight Global and eligible for Insight Global benefits, while supporting a Fortune 500 client.

Required Skills & Experience

• Technical Proficiency: Broad knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Experience with networking concepts (LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, TCP/IP) and network hardware (routers,
• switches, firewalls) is required to support GNS initiatives.
• Knowledge & skills in server administration (Windows and/or Linux) and Bluecat/DNS concepts and familiarity with virtualization or cloud computing environments.
• Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g. Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automating tasks and managing configurations.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code or configuration management tools (such as Ansible, Terraform, or CI/CD pipelines) is highly valued, as it aligns with our drive toward automated platform management.
• Patching, Assessments, must understand all aspects of network from perimeter to interior systems.
• Advanced experience supporting and troubleshooting Firewalls, Palo Alto L5s
• Sound familiarity with Cloud Network Architecture
• Cisco Switching, Routing and Voice knowledge
• Must have experience with Strata Cloud Manager (SCM)
