Job summary

MarbleX in Mumbai is seeking an experienced network engineer to install, configure and maintain core network and security services across data-center environments. You will handle LAN/WAN, VPN connectivity and work with customers and vendors to ensure seamless operation.

The role emphasizes hands-on Cisco/Juniper firewall configurations, SD-WAN, and ongoing monitoring of performance and security with proactive problem resolution and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in networking/network infrastructure.
• 8–10 years in data center networking.
• BGP, OSPF, HSRP, VRRP are required.
• Hands-on with Cisco/Juniper/Check Point/Fortinet firewalls.

Responsibilities

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of OSI model, Ethernet, NAT, IP addressing and TCP/IP.
• Practical experience in TCP/IP network implementation and administration.
• Hands-on experience with advanced IPS/IDS/UTM technologies.
• Minimum 3 years of Data Center networking experience.
• BGP is mandatory, along with OSPF, HSRP and VRRP.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of Juniper, Cisco, Check Point or Fortinet firewalls.
• Experience with ACI-SDN and Radware.
• Strong knowledge of STP, VLAN, SVI and LACP.
• Experience with SD-WAN, particularly FortiGate and Aruba.
• Knowledge of GRE, P-VPN, P-NAT, P-Routing and firewall clustering.
• Strong understanding of TCP/UDP and IPv6.
• Experience with IOS upgrades.
• Knowledge of RADIUS and TACACS/TACACS+.
• Experience with NMS, SYSLOG and SNMP.
• Basic understanding of FTP server communication.

Equipment & Hands-On Experience

• 4–5 years of hands-on experience with network switches such as Juniper, Cisco, Mellanox, Dell and/or Arista.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers and enterprise network infrastructure.
• Experience with Cisco ASA, Juniper, Check Point and/or Fortinet firewalls.
• Practical knowledge of network cabling, racks and data-center infrastructure.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and network analyzers.
• Ability to troubleshoot and differentiate network, application and system-level issues.
