Qualifications

• Approximately 5 years of experience in network engineering and management.
• Ability to work with various network protocols including OSPF and BGP.
• Experience with ISO standards related to incident and change management.

• Administer and manage Wipro LAN & WAN as part of the Global Network Project.
• Implement and configure network devices per guidelines and project requirements.
• Troubleshoot network and security issues within project scope.

Network Engineer L4

Responsibilities

• Administration and management of Wipro LAN & WAN across the globe as part of the Global Network Project Implementation Team.
• Implementation & configuration of network devices (routers, switches, NMS tools, WiFi devices) primarily Cisco but also Avaya/Brocade.
• Configure and implement network devices per hardening guidelines and project requirements.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot network and security issues within project scope.
• Deploy network infrastructure for new Offshore Development Centers (ODC) and Enterprise Projects with required security and redundancy.
• Set up ODC connectivity: MPLS, client-to-site VPN, site-to-site VPN (router based).
• Manage project movements, P2P link establishment, LAN/WAN/Internet architecture for new locations.
• Coordinate with ISP, clients, onsite teams for MPLS, VPN and other link implementations and resolution.
• Validate technical feasibility of design plans and provide suggestions.
• Use NMS tools, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), MPLS (VRF), switching, STP, QoS.
• Apply ISO 20000 & 27001 and Wipro IRMC guidelines following incident, change, capacity management.
• Lead and participate in S0 calls and outages until resolution.

Requirements

• CCNP equivalent certifications and ~5 years experience.
• Ability to multitask across multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and security.
