Job summary

Zlendo Technologies in Navi Mumbai is seeking a senior IT and network operations professional to lead branch and data center rollouts, ensuring robust uptime across locations. You will own capacity planning, incident escalation, and vendor governance, coordinating procurement and audits to maintain performance and security.

You will bring hands-on expertise with SD-WAN, routing, firewalls, and network monitoring tools to deliver reliable connectivity and cost-efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full branch rollout lifecycle, including initial site feasibility, link provisioning, SD-WAN deployment, and infrastructure readiness.
  • Oversee end-to-end network setup for new branch offices and DC expansions from site survey through procurement, staging, installation, and commissioning.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain core network hardware, including routers, switches, SD-WAN appliances, firewalls, modems, and access points.
  • Execute active project deployments for ongoing network upgrades, site migrations, and continuous hardware refresh cycles.
  • Manage SD-WAN device lifecycle management, including End-of-Life (EOL) hardware replacements, tech refreshes, and systematic decommissioning.
  • Lead end-to-end IT & network operations across all branches and Data Centers, ensuring maximum operational uptime and business continuity.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact (L1 and major incident lead) and escalation point for critical branch outages and complex network incidents.
  • Diagnose and resolve network-related issues including WAN connectivity drops, latency, hardware faults, VPN glitches, and IP addressing issues.
  • Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring network issues and implement permanent corrective solutions (e.g., link upgrades, routing optimization, redundancy setup).
  • Perform continuous capacity planning and network monitoring using tools like SolarWinds to support scalable business operations and prevent performance bottlenecks.
  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of diverse network transport types (e.g., MPLS, ILL/Internet Leased Lines, SD-WAN, Broadband, 4G/5G LTE, Point-to-Point).
  • Identify bandwidth requirements for new locations, request vendor quotes, initiate procurement orders, and supervise circuit activation/upgrades.
  • Monitor link performance, track uptime SLAs, and coordinate link upgrades or rationalization based on branch operational requirements.
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) connecting business units, IT leadership, and external service providers/ISPs.
  • Manage relationships with telecom service providers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and system integrators.
  • Facilitate the end-to-end onboarding of new telecom and network hardware vendors onto the company/LTFS vendor panel in compliance with procurement policies.
  • Lead weekly governance calls and monthly vendor performance reviews to track SLA adherence, enforce service delivery standards, and implement cost optimization initiatives.
  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement workflow, including Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and formal documentation.
  • Process monthly telecom and network infrastructure bills, validate invoices, and execute dispute resolutions to prevent overbilling or unauthorized charges.
  • Perform routine reconciliations between active circuits and vendor billing statements, coordinating with internal finance and accounts payable teams for timely payment release.
  • Maintain central IT inventory tracking, asset management registers, and lifecycle documentation across all operational locations.
  • Publish regular network health, operational performance, and SLA compliance reports for management review.
  • Ensure all branch and DC network configurations comply with internal IT security guidelines, risk frameworks, and statutory audit standards.
