Job summary

HireFlexperts in Surat, Gujarat, is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across office, data center, and trading environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, BGP/OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, and multi-ISP connectivity, with added advantage for NSE/BSE/MCX exchange connectivity and low-latency requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in network infrastructure management and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with routers, switches and firewalls such as Cisco, MikroTik, Fortinet, etc.
• Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, VLANs, NAT, and routing protocols.
• Experience with multi-ISP network architecture and redundancy design.
• Good knowledge of network security concepts, including VPNs, firewall policies, and IDS/IPS.
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as Zabbix, SolarWinds, or PRTG.
• Familiarity with low-latency network environments used in trading infrastructure.
• Understanding of NSE/BSE/MCX exchange connectivity and colocation environments is an added advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, especially in critical environments.
• Excellent communication and vendor coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-ISP connectivity, BGP routing, and traffic engineering for optimized performance and redundancy.
• Monitor and maintain low-latency network performance required for trading applications.
• Configure and maintain VLANs, routing protocols, NAT, and network segmentation.
• Implement and manage firewall policies, IPS/IDS, VPNs, and network security controls.
• Monitor network health using tools such as Zabbix, SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar monitoring platforms.
• Troubleshoot network outages, latency issues, packet loss, and connectivity problems.
• Manage NSE colocation and exchange connectivity infrastructure.
• Coordinate with ISPs, exchanges, and vendors for circuit provisioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure high availability and redundancy of critical network infrastructure.
• Perform network capacity planning, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and configuration backups.
• Support cybersecurity audits and compliance requirements related to network infrastructure.
