Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a seasoned Network Operations engineer for Gurgaon, Noida and Bangalore locations. The role focuses on second-level incident support, problem resolution, and technical operations across complex LAN/WAN environments.

The ideal candidate will be fluent with Cisco/Juniper devices, security technologies, and cloud integration. The position requires willingness for 24x7 on-call coverage and strong collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in LAN/WAN Networks and Security Operations/Development
• Education: a primary degree in Engineering, IT or Telecommunications
• Experience with Linux systems, Networking and Firewall technologies
• JNCIA, CCSA qualifications preferred
• Hands-on troubleshooting experience with tools like Wireshark
• Experience with Cisco & Juniper routers/switches, WAN/LAN, and BGP/OSPF/RIP/EIGRP
• Experience with Cloud and DevOps concepts

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve incidents.
• Investigate and diagnose problems and identify short-term workarounds.
• Act as network specialist and propose improvements to deployed solutions.
• Support and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, load balancers, DNS, Email Security solutions.
• Build user documentation and provide technical support.
• Redesign and reconfigure alarms for network.
• Maintain a stable environment and optimize the network.

About this opportunity:

The position is based out of Gurgaon, Noida & Bangalore. Candidate would be responsible for providing second-level support on incidents, problem resolutions and technical operations. The incumbent should be authoritative on hardcore networking technologies such as Routers, Switches, Firewalls, proxies, load balancers, VPNs and must have a passion for it. Candidate must be flexible for 24x7 role.

What you will do:

• Investigate and resolve incidents.
• Investigate and diagnose problems. Where applicable, identify short-term work-around solutions.
• Act as network specialist and identify improvements in existing deployed solutions, provide input to RFCs etc.
• Support and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, load balancers, DNS, Email Security solutions
• Build user documentation.
• Provide technical support.

The skills you bring:

• Candidates has experience in Airwave, Mobility master & controller, Access points, Aruba ClearPass policy manager, Scalance-X Industrial Ethernet Switches
• Should have excellent hands on troubleshooting experience, Good to understand tools like Wireshark.
• Understanding and experience while working with Cloud technologies, Devops, Terraform, cloudformation.
• Candidate should have working experience with Network and security over Azure/AWS/GCP/IBM clouds.
• The candidate will need to be prepared to be flexible in approach to work content and responsibilities, along with out of hours and on call support
• Candidate Should be ready for 24x7 role.
