Job summary

Ericsson is seeking an experienced network professional to provide second-level support across Gurgaon, Noida, and Bangalore. You will handle incidents, diagnose problems, and optimize core networking components including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

The role requires adaptability for 24x7 coverage and a strong passion for networking. Candidates should have 8+ years in LAN/WAN networks with security operations experience, and hold an engineering degree in IT or Telecommunications.

Qualifications

• Engineering, IT or Telecommunications degree.
• JNCIA and CCSA qualifications preferred.

About this opportunity: The position is based out of Gurgaon, Noida & Bangalore. Candidate would be responsible for providing second-level support on incidents, problem resolutions and technical operations. The incumbent should be authoritative on hardcore networking technologies such as Routers, Switches, Firewalls, proxies, load balancers, VPNs and must have a passion for it. CandidateMust be flexible for 24x7 role.

What you will do

• Investigate and resolve incidents.
• Investigate and diagnose problems. Where applicable, identify short-term work-around solutions.
• Act as network specialist and identify improvements in existing deployed solutions, provide input to RFCs etc.
• Support and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, load balancers, DNS, Email Security solutions
• Build user documentation.
• Provide technical support.
• Redesign and reconfigure alarms for network.
• Maintain a stable environment and optimizes the network as vital.

The skills you bring

• Candidate Should be ready for 24x7 role.
• 8+ Years of experience in LAN/WAN Networks and Security Operations/Development
• Education: A primary degree in Engineering, IT or Telecommunications

JNCIA , CCSA Qualifications Are Preferred

Candidate should have relevant

• Knowledge of Networking and WAN technologies
• Technical experience on Juniper, Cisco, Palo Alto, Cloud, F5
• Strong Technical Skills on IP/MPLS, Routing, WAN/LAN, Security, DHCP/DNS/IPAM, Aruba Switches & WLAN
• Must have strong working experience with a wide range of Cisco & Juniper routers and switches, LAN, WAN and wireless LAN technologies, network security, DHCP/DNS and routing protocols such BGP, OSPF, RIPv2 and EIGRP.
• Candidates has experience in Airwave, Mobility master & controller, Access points, Aruba ClearPass policy manager, Scalance-X Industrial Ethernet Switches
• Should have excellent hands on troubleshooting experience, Good to understand tools like Wireshark.
• Understanding and experience while working with Cloud technologies, Devops, Terraform, cloudformation.
• Candidate should have working experience with Network and security over Azure/AWS/GCP/IBM clouds.
• The candidate will need to be prepared to be flexible in approach to work content and responsibilities, along with out of hours and on call support
• Candidate Should be ready for 24x7 role.
• Communication with Business – Stakeholder Management and Customer Interaction
• Individual Contribution and hands on technical role
• Ways of working – Lean & Agile, DevOps, Automation, AI, Scripting, ISMS Frame work
