Job summary

Ericsson is seeking an experienced Specialist IP Core in India to design, audit and optimize IP/MPLS and MPBN networks. The role involves customer-facing responsibilities, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and delivering high-quality network solutions that meet contract requirements.

You will lead integration services, review configurations, and produce comprehensive HLD/LLD documents while leveraging expertise across Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, and other vendors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in design, planning, deployment and troubleshooting of IP/MPLS/MPBN networks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, discuss and define network requirements and review solutions.
• Interact with stakeholders for delivery execution.
• Prepare IP documents (HLD/LLD) as required.
• Lead integration services for telecom IP networks.
• Perform MPBN network audits including security, configuration and hardware.
• Troubleshoot network problems and implement corrective actions.

About this opportunity

The Specialist IP Core performs design, optimization and audit of a network to meet the customer requirements. The role is focused on executing design, audit and optimization services, where the network engineer is responsible for part of the solution and part of the service process. The Specialist IP Core is responsible to upkeep time, performance and quality according to Ericsson requirements and Customer contract.

The skills you bring

• 10+ years industry experience with excellent exposure on Design, Planning, Deployment & Troubleshooting in IP networks / MPBN Backbone/IP Security on Telecom / ISP based networks.


• Hands on experience in Configuration of Multivendor ( Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, Arbor, Checkpoint, FortiGate and ZTE) Network/Security Devices.


• Hands on experience in Troubleshooting – Network related issues.


• Experience in Telecom Technologies (2G, 3G, 4G & 5G).


• Experience in Multi-Vendor Migration of Services.


• Should have sound knowledge in routing and VPN technology (OSPF, ISIS,BGP MPLS, SR & L3/L2 VPN, EVPN) and QOS along with Traffic Engineering


• Should have sound knowledge in Firewall, DDoS, DNS, DPI & load balancer.


• Planning, Design & Optimization of IP/MPLS Network.


• Excellent knowledge in Routing Protocols and MPLS Transport.


• In-depth understanding and hands-on expertise in Layer 2 networking technologies.


• Knowledge of Managed Service telecom operations practice.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Automation Skills.


• Professional /Expert IP Certification (CCIE, JNCIE, CCNP)
