Job summary

Zoom is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, deploy, and operate its global enterprise network across campus, cloud, and remote environments. You will implement automation, improve observability, and partner with product and AI initiatives to keep networks reliable at scale.

The role involves managing LAN/WAN infrastructure, firewalls, and Zero Trust platforms while collaborating with Security and Cloud Engineering teams. A hybrid work model is supported.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering across LAN, WAN, and wireless environments.
• Strong TCP/IP fundamentals and packet-level troubleshooting (L2-L4).
• Operate firewalls (Palo Alto or equivalent) and Zero Trust platforms (Zscaler, Prisma Access, or equivalent).
• Configure and troubleshoot 802.1X / NAC in an enterprise environment.
• Manage Juniper (EX, QFX, SRX, MX) or equivalent routing and switching platforms.
• Monitor networks using SNMP, NetFlow, syslog, or equivalent observability tooling.

Responsibilities

You will engineer and operate Zoom's global corporate network across campus, cloud, and remote environments. You will automate repetitive work and improve observability to keep the network reliable at scale. Your efforts directly support Zoom's product teams and AI initiatives.

About the Team

IT Network Engineering owns the infrastructure connecting Zoom's global workforce. We automate aggressively and build reliable tooling. We fix things properly - once.

Responsibilities:

• Operating enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure including switching, routing, wireless, and SD-WAN across global sites.
• Administering firewall policies, Zero Trust remote access, and 802.1X network access control for secure connectivity.
• Supporting cloud network connectivity and partnering with Security and Cloud Engineering teams on cross-functional projects.
• Building automation scripts, playbooks, and Infrastructure-as-Code templates to reduce operational toil.
• Maintaining runbooks, network diagrams, and change procedures to ensure operational clarity and knowledge sharing.

What we’re looking for

• Have 5+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience spanning LAN, WAN, and wireless environments.
• Demonstrate strong TCP/IP fundamentals and packet-level troubleshooting skills (Layer 2 through Layer 4).
• Operate firewalls (Palo Alto or equivalent) and Zero Trust platforms (Zscaler, Prisma Access, or equivalent).
• Configure and troubleshoot 802.1X / NAC in an enterprise environment.
• Manage Juniper (EX, QFX, SRX, MX) or equivalent routing and switching platforms.
• Monitor networks using SNMP, NetFlow, syslog, or equivalent observability tooling.
