Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Bengaluru is seeking an MS Teams Voice SME with 8-12 years of experience to lead unified communications initiatives. The role focuses on migration from Skype to Teams, hybrid voice solutions, and enterprise-wide Teams architecture with Direct Routing.

Responsibilities include planning deployments, coordinating with Microsoft and vendors, and maintaining governance, policies, and monitoring for optimal call quality and device health.

Qualifications

• Experience in SFB 2015 and Lync 2013 with enterprise voice and hybrid solutions.
• Migration from Skype to Teams and Teams direct routing implementation.
• Knowledge of Teams architecture, policies and features.
• Endpoint handling of Skype and Teams phones and devices.
• Experience migrating legacy systems to Teams.
• Proficiency with AAD, network/firewall rules and DNS for Direct Routing.
• Troubleshooting Teams issues and call quality reporting.
• Emergency call routing in Teams and governance for MS Teams.
• Health checks of servers and PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Meeting room management, devices health and pro dashboard tooling.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with MS and vendors for issue tracking and resolutions.
• Develop technology roadmaps for Unified Communications & Collaboration Services.

• Hands-on exposure in Device and peripherals Health Checks for Pro portal & configuration management of MTR devices.
• Ability to perform Patching and software updates for A/V Devices from Pro management portal.
• Ability to Perform MTR device management tasks.
• Conducting Review of current and past meeting activity (such as details about call quality, network health and connectivity, and number of participants).
• Ability to perform Teams Meeting performance checks using call analytics & Call Quality Dashboards.
• Good understanding on Remote troubleshooting of MTR issues and engage local touch support for onsite support. /OEMs/Vendors for hardware failure, hardware replacement and any onsite break-fix issues.
• Coordination and Engage local A/V vendor for any hardware issues and replacement.
