Job Description

Network ACI/DC Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and troubleshooting Cisco data center and networking solutions across the enterprise. This role collaborates with engineers, executives, and customers to articulate technology strategy and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches, including Cat 6500, 6800, 4500, 3850, Nexus 7K, 5K, 3K, 9K, and ACI.
• Design and implement LAN, routing, and switching solutions using protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, STP, RSTP, VTP, VSS, vPC, vDC, MSTP, LACP, VLAN, VXLAN‑EVPN, DCNM, OTV, FEX, FabricPath, and LISP.
• Provide technical strategy and architecture guidance to engineers, executives, and Cisco customers.
• Consult with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders to influence network solutions.

Qualifications - Must Have

• Extensive knowledge of routing and switching technologies (IGP, OSPF, EGP, BGP, STP, RSTP, VTP, VSS, vPC, vDC, MSTP, LACP, VLAN, etc.).
• Experience in data center, cloud, and virtualization industry (ACI, Nexus products).
• Deep expertise in LAN switch technologies (STP, RSTP, VTP, VSS, vPC, vDC, MSTP, LACP, VLAN, VXLAN‑EVPN, DCNM, OTV, FEX, FabricPath, VXLAN, LISP).
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco platforms: Cat 6500/6800/4500/3850, Nexus 7K/5K/3K/9K (stand‑alone and ACI).
• Proficiency in installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and network solution design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong consulting and client‑facing skills.
• CCNA required, CCNP a plus, CCIE (ENT/DC) preferred.

Qualifications - Good to Have

• Customer workshop facilitation and high‑level/low‑level network design experience.
• Experience with virtualization platforms (OpenStack, VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper‑V, Red Hat KVM, Linux Containers).
• Knowledge of SDR/SDWAN and UCS products (HyperFlex, DCNM, Nexus Dashboard).
• Network automation skills (Python, Ansible, GoLang, Splunk).
