Job description

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Consultant Nephrologist to join a reputed hospital in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical expertise in managing kidney-related disorders, dialysis care, and critical care nephrology.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases, including AKI and CKD.
• Evaluate and treat hypertension, electrolyte imbalances, fluid disorders, and glomerular diseases.
• Manage patients undergoing hemodialysis and other renal replacement therapies.
• Assess dialysis requirements and monitor treatment outcomes and complications.
• Provide nephrology consultation for critically ill patients in ICU settings.
• Coordinate with Urology, Cardiology, Neurology, and Critical Care departments.
• Review investigations, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress.
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow hospital protocols and patient-safety standards.
• Participate in emergency, on-call, and multidisciplinary clinical activities as required.

Qualifications

• MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
• DM/DNB in Nephrology.
• Valid registration with the relevant Medical Council.
• DrNB Nephrology candidates may also be considered, subject to hospital requirements.

Experience

• Experience in clinical nephrology or a hospital setting is preferred.
• Experience in dialysis management and critical care nephrology will be an added advantage.
