Job Profile: Consultant Nephrologist

Job Description

• Evaluate, diagnose, manage and treat a spectrum of kidney-related disorders.
• Offer hemodialysis, dialysis, renal biopsies, post-surgical care of patients who have recently had a kidney transplant, and work alongside primary care physicians to determine the best method of care for kidney patients with comorbidities.
• Treat protein or blood in the urine, indicators that the kidneys are not able to flush wastes properly.
• Treat patients for long periods of time, developing relationships with them and educating them about managing renal dysfunction and electrolyte disorders and preventing further kidney damage.

Qualifications

Education: DM Qualified OR DNB Qualified in Nephrology from a reputed hospital
