About The Opportunity Healthcare — Nephrology & Renal Care sector serving tertiary and multi-specialty hospital settings. We deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient kidney care, dialysis services, and peri‑/post‑transplant management across high-volume clinical pathways. Position: Consultant Nephrologist (on-site, India).
Role & Responsibilities Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient nephrology care, including assessment and management of AKI, CKD, electrolyte disorders, and multisystem complications. Lead and oversee dialysis services: perform/coordinate hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis rounds, prescribe dialysis regimens, and optimize individualized treatment plans. Perform specialty procedures: ultrasound-guided kidney biopsy and procedural management; coordinate CRRT and plasmapheresis for critically ill patients. Manage pre- and post-renal transplant patients in collaboration with transplant surgeons—monitor immunosuppression, rejection surveillance and long-term follow-up. Drive clinical governance for the dialysis unit: implement protocols, ensure infection control, audit outcomes, and support vascular access care pathways. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (intensivists, surgeons, nephrology nursing, lab services) and contribute to teaching, case reviews, and clinical quality improvement initiatives.
