Job summary

Onestopndt is seeking an NDT & SDT Engineer to perform NDT and SDT for construction projects, evaluate quality, and maintain inspection reports in compliance with NABL and QMS standards.

The role includes HSE compliance, technical documentation, client relationships, and timely delivery of inspection reports. Requires BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 4–5 years of relevant experience and strong testing, reporting, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of NDT and SDT.
  • Knowledge of construction chemicals and strengthening materials is desirable.
  • Experience in restoration of structures and QA/QC is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • NDT & Construction Testing
  • Conduct NDT tests in accordance with established procedures.
  • Conduct Semi-Destructive Testing (SDT).
  • Conduct load tests on structural members and slabs.
  • Perform distress mapping of buildings.
  • Evaluate construction quality through NDT and SDT.
  • Perform visual inspection and support NDT testing activities.
  • Prepare and publish inspection reports.
  • Technical Documentation & Quality
  • Maintain standard reference materials and technical records.
  • Review and update work instructions as required.
  • Carry out internal calibration under the guidance of the Technical Manager.
  • Prepare measurement of uncertainty documentation with support from the Technical Manager.
  • Ensure implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) within the area of responsibility.
  • Comply with corporate standards, including the Code of Ethics, BV Values, corporate identity, policies, and procedures.
  • HSE Responsibilities
  • Comply with BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations.
  • Follow company HSE policies, procedures, guidelines, and applicable local legal requirements.
  • Take responsibility for personal health and safety as well as the safety of colleagues and others.
  • Immediately report HSE shortcomings, incidents, and unsafe work practices or conditions to the immediate Line Manager.
  • Share opportunities for improvement related to HSE aspects.
  • Adhere to Group HSE guidelines.
