Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced Native iOS Technical Lead to guide architecture, design, and development of scalable iOS apps. You will set technical direction, mentor teams, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performance mobile solutions.

The role requires 10+ years in software and 7+ years in native iOS development, with strong expertise in MVVM, VIPER, and modern Swift tools. Chennai/Bengaluru location with full-time employment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall software development experience.
• At least 7 years of hands-on native iOS development experience using Swift.
• Strong expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Xcode, and iOS SDKs.
• Strong knowledge of architectural patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture, and Modular Architecture.
• Experience working with REST APIs, GraphQL, web services, and third-party integrations.
• Proficiency in unit testing, UI testing, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong understanding of mobile application security, encryption, and secure data storage.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Expertise in application performance optimisation, memory management, debugging, and crash analysis.
• Experience with Git, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted engineering tools to improve development efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall architecture of native iOS applications.
