Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai is seeking an experienced iOS Architect to define and drive the architecture for native iOS apps using Swift and UIKit/SwiftUI. You will lead design, security, scalability, and performance while mentoring engineers and aligning with product and backend teams.

Responsibilities include reviews, release management, and adherence to App Store guidelines, with experience in commerce/retail apps a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Xcode.
• Experience with MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture and Modular Architecture.
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, Web Services, and third-party integrations.
• Proficiency in unit UI and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong understanding of mobile security, encryption and secure storage.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.
• Expertise in performance optimization, memory management, and debugging.
• Experience with Git, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted engineering tools to drive developer efficiency.
