Qualifications

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced iOS Developer to design, build, and maintain high-quality iOS applications and reusable SDKs. The ideal candidate is passionate about mobile engineering, follows best practices in architecture and testing, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced product environment.

You will work closely with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and backend teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and user-centric mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications and reusable SDKs using Swift.
• Build modern, scalable user interfaces using SwiftUI and UIKit, following Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
• Develop modular and reusable SDKs that can be consumed across multiple iOS applications.
• Implement scalable architectures such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar to ensure testability and maintainability.
• Write comprehensive unit tests and UI tests using XCTest and related frameworks to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and internal frameworks.
• Manage dependencies using CocoaPods and Swift Package Manager (SPM).
• Optimize applications and SDKs for performance, memory usage, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, QA, and backend teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to overall team growth.
• Take ownership of deliverables and actively contribute as a team player in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8+ years of experience in iOS application development.
• Strong proficiency in Swift with a solid understanding of iOS SDKs.
• Hands-on experience with SwiftUI and UIKit for building production-grade user interfaces.
• Experience in iOS SDK / framework development and maintaining reusable components.
• Strong understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and common iOS design patterns.
• Proven experience writing unit tests and UI tests using XCTest and XCUITest.
• Experience with CocoaPods and Swift Package Manager (SPM) for dependency management.
• Solid understanding of multithreading, memory management (ARC), and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and applying networking best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for iOS applications.
• Proficiency with Git, Xcode, and iOS debugging and profiling tools (Instruments, LLDB).
• Strong communication skills with demonstrated collaboration and team leadership experience.
• Experience working in service-based or client-driven organizations with multiple stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience publishing and maintaining SDKs or libraries used by multiple teams or products.
• Exposure to cross-platform architectures or shared business-logic layers.
• Experience with app security, data encryption, and secure API integration.
• Prior experience mentoring or leading small iOS teams.
