Job summary

Venture Quest is seeking a National Placement Head to lead the placement function nationwide. You will drive placement outcomes, build employer partnerships, and manage placement operations for students across Aviation, Hospitality, Travel, and Customer Service sectors.

The role requires 15–20 years of experience in placements and related fields, strong leadership, and a robust network with industry partners. Travel across India is expected, with a senior leadership reporting to the Director.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized university (Master's preferred).
• 15–20 years of relevant experience in Placements, Corporate Relations, Talent Acquisition, or Career Services.
• Preferred background in Education, Aviation, Airlines, Hospitality, or Travel sectors.
• Strong network within Aviation, Hospitality, Travel, and Customer Service industries.
• Proven experience managing large-scale placement operations.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage placement activities across all centers in India.
• Achieve a minimum of 90% student placement annually.
• Oversee placement drives for approximately 20,000 students every year.
• Mentor, coach, and prepare students for interviews and career opportunities.
• Ensure a professional and seamless recruitment experience for hiring partners.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers across sectors.
• Identify new hiring partners and expand the corporate network.
• Coordinate campus recruitment drives and hiring events.
• Build a strong network with HR leaders, recruiters, and industry professionals.
• Stay updated with industry trends, hiring demands, and emerging career opportunities.
• Represent the organization at recruitment events, career fairs, and industry forums.
• Maintain accurate placement records, employer databases, and recruitment reports.
• Track placement performance across centers and analyze key metrics.
• Prepare MIS reports and presentations for senior management.
• Recommend and implement strategies to improve placement performance.

About the Role

Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Placements

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate from a recognized university (Master's preferred).
• 15–20 years of relevant experience in Placements, Corporate Relations, Talent Acquisition, or Career Services.
• Preferred background in Education, Aviation, Airlines, Hospitality, or Travel sectors.
• Strong network within Aviation, Hospitality, Travel, and Customer Service industries.
• Proven experience managing large-scale placement operations.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Excellent presentation, reporting, and analytical skills.

Preferred Candidate

• Age: 35–45 years
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel across India as required.
