Job summary

Innomotics is seeking a MVD Engineering specialist to join the Navi Mumbai team. You will work on medium voltage drives, from design and simulations to validation, BOM creation, and FAT activities.

The role requires 3+ years of experience and a BE/BTech in Electrical/Electronics. Responsibilities include drive programming, IEC/EN/IS standards compliance, PLM projects, and cost-effective component design with rigorous testing.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Electrical/Electronics with min 3 years of relevant experience.
• Design power schemes, system simulations and validation for MV drives.
• FAT, BOM, drive programming, schematics and component specs.
• PLM processes, FMEA, IEC/EN/IS standards and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of problem-solving tools (A3, 8D) and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design power schemes and perform simulations and validation.
• Drive programming, schematics, BOM and FAT activities.
• Apply PLM, FMEA and IEC/EN/IS standards in projects.
• Project planning and execution for new developments.
• Design low-cost components and test concepts.

Your Future Role

Engineering & Product Development of Medium Voltage Drives

Required min 3 years relevant experience

• Design Power schemes, application-based engineering, system stimulations by programming & validation.
• Drive Programming , schematics, Bill of Materials, FAT
• PLM process, FMEA, Various IEC, EN and IS standards.
• Generating component specifications, Test strategies
• Project planning and execution
• Design calculation for selection of electric components.
• PLM Project management for new developments
• Design low-cost components and Product costing.
• Design and test concept development.
• Continuous improvement
• Decision making
• Knowledge of problem-solving tools and techniques like A3, 8D etc.
• Risk Assessment.

Your profile:

• Software Skills: EPLAN, SAP, Teamcenter, Autocad
• Knowledge in Power Electronics, Electrical switchgear, Standards & Technologies:
• Conceptualize, design, develop, validate and smooth introduction of Medium voltage drives as per customer specification.
• Knowledge in designing electrical / electronics systems and components for industry applications.
• Establish test specifications of electrical/ electronics, Technical requirements, requirement specifications, specific standards.
• BE/BTECH – Electrical/ Electronics
