Job summary

Metromakro in Pune district seeks a senior full stack engineer with strong MuleSoft integration and API-led connectivity. You will design, build, and govern APIs in a cloud-native environment, using Java and Spring Boot and MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

You will collaborate with architects and product managers to modernize integration architecture, contribute to microservices design, and ensure secure, scalable solutions. Strong English communication and hands-on CI/CD experience are expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with integration focus.
• Hands-on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform experience.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot proficiency.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

• A certified MuleSoft professional who can design, build, and manage APIs and integrations in a distributed, cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft Flows and integrations using Anypoint Studio and related tools.
• Build and maintain services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Lead the modernization of integration architecture and contribute to microservices design.
• Work closely with architects and product managers to align on integration strategies.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security of integration solutions.
• Promote best practices in API design, testing, and CI/CD automation.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for cloud-native deployments (e.g., Kubernetes, GCP).

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Work Experience & Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on integration and backend development.

• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
