Job summary

METRO.digital is seeking a senior full stack engineer with strong MuleSoft integration and API-led connectivity. You will design, build, and manage APIs and integrations in a distributed, cloud-native environment.

Role emphasizes Java/Spring Boot backend, API design, and collaboration with architects and product managers to align integration strategies, while ensuring security, performance, and scalability across services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on integration and backend development.
• Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).

Role Overview

• Someone with a solid foundation in Java and backend development, and hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• A certified MuleSoft professional who can design, build, and manage APIs and integrations in a distributed, cloud-native environment.
