FatakSecure, the insurance arm of FatakPay Digital, seeks a dynamic Motor Insurance Head to lead the sales of motor insurance products in Mumbai. The candidate will drive both retail and institutional channels through digital, tele-sales, partnerships and fleet programs.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of insurance experience, with proven ability to build profitable motor insurance businesses and establish strong insurer relations.

Competenze

• Post graduate degree in business administration preferred with relevant insurance knowledge.
• Experience in motor insurance sales is mandatory and track record of online and tele-calling sales.
• Strong network in automotive OEMs, fleet owners, and logistics/transport sectors.

Mansioni

Role Description

• This is a full-time role for head of Motor Insurance Sales. The role will be on-site, located in Mumbai.
• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced result oriented professional to drive Motor Insurance sales.
• The role is responsible for driving both retail and institutional motor insurance sales through digital channels, tele[1]sales, strategic partnerships, affinity programs, OEM relationships, and fleet business.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the motor insurance ecosystem, digital customer acquisition, partnership development, and insurance distribution. The individual will be responsible for building a profitable and scalable motor insurance business while leveraging FatakPay's digital ecosystem and customer base.
• Prior experience of motor insurance sales – preferably in insurance broking is mandatory

Key Responsibilities

1. Retail Motor Insurance Sales

• Develop and execute the overall sales strategy for Motor Insurance.
• Develop channels for acquiring customers beyond in-house leads
• Build a high-performing digital and telesales team
• Lead and manage a telesales team responsible for converting digital leads into policy sales

2. Affinity Partnerships, Fleet & Commercial Vehicle Insurance

Identify, negotiate and onboard institutional partners for large-scale motor insurance distribution including NBFCs, Banks, Corporate employers, Fleet operators, Logistics companies, Taxi aggregators, dealer networks etc

Develop wholesale insurance business for fleets including Goods carrying vehicles, Passenger transport operators, Bus operators, School buses, Logistics companies etc.

3. Strategy, Product & Insurer Relations

• Insurer Relations: Partner with leading general insurance companies to design competitive, customized motor products, add-on covers, and seamless claims-integration workflows.
• Tech-Driven Process Implementation: Collaborate with internal product and engineering teams to continuously improve the digital journey, ensuring instant policy issuance and a friction-free UI/UX.

4. Business Growth & P&L

Prepare annual business plans and growth forecasts. Own the complete Motor Insurance business PnL Including Premium Target, Revenue, Team size, expenses, profitability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Post Graduate degree in Business administration preferred. Additional insurance certifications preferred (e.g., Licentiate from III) or Agent/ SP examination passed
• Experience
• Prior experience of motor insurance sales is mandatory. Proven track record of running high[1]volume digital and tele-calling setups, combined with deep knowledge of commercial vehicle
• An active, established network of relationships with automotive OEMs, large corporate fleet owners, and decision-makers in the logistics/passenger transport sectors.
• Minimum 10 years’ plus experience in Insurance Business. Preference of working in Insurance
