UCAM Bangalore is seeking a motors design engineer to design and develop high‑performance motors for aerospace, defense, and automotive applications. You will perform calculations, simulations, and optimization using leading tools and ensure designs meet strict quality standards.

Fresher to 2 years experience in BE/MTech Electrical & Electronics, with strong fundamentals, will thrive in a precision engineering environment that values technical rigor, documentation, and collaborative problem

Qualifikationen

• Proficiency in motor design software and simulation tools (Altair Flux, Speed, ANSYS Maxwell).
• Strong understanding of electrical and electronics engineering basics and motor design principles.
• Good understanding of industrial standards for motor design, manufacturing and testing.
• Ability to read and understand documents/white papers and apply learnings.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Design and develop efficient, cost-effective, highly reliable motors per customer requirements.
• Conduct detailed design calculations, simulations, and analyses to optimize performance.
• Utilize software tools to create and validate motor designs.
• Continuously improve existing motor designs to reduce costs and address quality issues.

• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate progress to the engineering team and management.

Job Description

To Design and develop efficient, cost effective, highly reliable motors as per the customer requirement to meet organisation’s goals

Experience Fresher- 2 years

Education:

BE/ M.Tech/MS - Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Design and development of various types of motors, including torque motors, BLDC motors, IPM motors, and UAV motors for different application

Conduct detailed design calculations, simulations, and analysis to optimize motor performance, efficiency, and reliability.

Utilize software tools to create and validate motor designs.

Continuously evaluate and enhance existing motor designs to improve efficiency, reduce manufacturing costs, and address any quality issues.

Maintain comprehensive records of motor design specifications, calculations, and test results

Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate design progress and findings to the engineering team and management

Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.

High level of project management skills.

Skills Required

Proficiency in motor design software and simulation tools - Altair flux, Speed, Ansys Maxwell

Strong understanding of electrical and electronics engineering basics / theory and principles of motor design

Good understanding in industrial standards of motor designing, manufacturing and testing

Ability to read, and understand documents/ white papers and implement the learning from the same.
