Job summary

Gemopai is seeking a skilled electric scooter technician in Hyderabad to diagnose and repair motor controllers and electrical systems. The role requires hands-on experience with BLDC motors, wiring harnesses, and fault diagnosis, with emphasis on safety and quality.

You will perform component checks, road testing, and documentation of repair activities, coordinating with service teams to resolve issues efficiently and maintain tool readiness.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile Engineering required or preferred.
• Experience with electric scooters or two-wheelers is essential.
• Ability to diagnose controller faults and electrical issues.
• Basic mechanical skills for servicing and component replacement.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair motor controllers used in 2-wheeler electric scooters.
• Troubleshoot controller faults, wiring issues, throttle problems, and electrical connections.
• Perform checks on motor, battery, charger, wiring harness, brakes, suspension, and other components.
• Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues in electric scooters.
• Conduct scooter servicing, maintenance, component replacement, and road testing.
• Inspect faulty controllers and other components to identify root causes.
• Test repaired controllers and verify proper functioning before dispatch.
• Assist in battery and charger troubleshooting following electrical safety procedures.
• Maintain repair records, service reports, and details of replaced components.
• Coordinate with service and production teams to resolve technical issues.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain tools and equipment properly.
