Job summary

FlytBase is seeking a motion graphics designer who can jump in and start producing from day one, handling briefs for product explainers, social content, and campaigns with support from the design team. You will use AI video tools as part of your daily workflow to move quickly and deliver polished work.

You will own tasks end-to-end, build motion templates, and contribute to live campaigns. A reel of real work is essential, and you should be comfortable operating with minimal supervision from our

The Role

We're looking for a motion graphics designer who can jump in and start producing from day one- this is a working role, not a shadowing one. You'll be handed real briefs for product explainers, social content, and campaign videos, and expected to take them from concept to final render with the design team's support, not their supervision. You'll also be expected to use AI video and animation tools as part of your everyday workflow to move fast. If you need heavy hand-holding to get started, this isn't the right fit—but if you're ready to own tasks end-to-end and learn on the job by actually doing the job, this is for you.

What You'll Own

• AI-Native Motion: Use tools like Runway, Higgsfield, HeyGen, Veo 2, and AnimateDiff as part of your daily workflow to generate and refine motion assets.
• Multi-Format Animation: Independently produce motion graphics for social content, product explainers, ads, and internal videos, start to finish.
• Storytelling: Turn product and technical ideas into clear, compelling animated content with minimal briefing.
• 3D & Editing: Animate and composite 3D renders and video edits for live campaigns.
• Reusable Systems: Use and help build motion templates and design systems the team relies on.

Best Suited For

• Working proficiency in After Effects and Premiere Pro (or equivalent)—comfortable enough to execute independently, not just follow tutorials.
• Hands-on experience with at least one AI video/motion tool, or the ability to pick one up and be productive within days.
• A reel of real work—personal, freelance, or college projects that shows you can take an idea through to a finished, polished piece on your own.
• Solid grasp of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling fundamentals.
• Comfortable taking a brief and running with it, asking sharp questions instead of waiting to be told each step.
• You’ve seen every corner of Pinterest and have curated boards for all your visual ideas.
