We are looking for an experienced Monitoring Administrator to manage and maintain our Monitoring monitoring system. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and optimizing Monitoring Server, Proxy, and Agents to ensure seamless monitoring of IT infrastructure, applications, and network devices. The role requires strong expertise in device monitoring, alert management, troubleshooting, and performance optimization, along with experience in Linux and Windows environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Monitoring Server, Monitoring Proxy, and Monitoring Agent across multiple environments.
• Set up database backend (MySQL) for efficient data storage.
• Monitoring & Performance Management:
  • Implement real‑time monitoring for servers, applications, and network devices.
  • Configure custom templates, triggers, and thresholds for proactive alerting.
  • Optimize polling intervals, history retention policies, and database performance.
• Alerting & Notifications:
  • Set up email, SMS, Teams, or webhook‑based alert notifications.
  • Define action and escalation policies to ensure critical issues are addressed in time.
  • Customize alert messages using macros and event correlation techniques.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Monitoring logs, agent connectivity, and performance issues.
• Identify and resolve latency, data collection errors, and false alerts.
• Perform Monitoring system upgrades and patches as needed.
• Automation & Integration (good to have):
  • Automate monitoring tasks using scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
  • Integrate Monitoring with Ansible, Terraform, Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK stack.
  • Implement low‑level discovery (LLD) for dynamic host and service discovery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3.5+ years of hands‑on experience in Monitoring administration.
• Strong expertise in Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS) and Windows environments.
• MySQL, MariaDB.
• Experience in containers setup and monitoring.
• Familiarity with:
  • SNMP
  • IPMI
  • JMX
  • ODBC
  • API monitoring
• Knowledge of cloud monitoring (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) is a plus.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• Monitoring Certified Specialist / Professional (Preferred).
• Experience working in large‑scale enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of:
