Job summary

Mphasis in Bengaluru seeks a capable engineer to drive data streaming, cloud transformation, and API product development for critical applications. You will build data APIs and delivery services supporting internal operations, customers, and partners.

Collaborate with teammates, analyze technical information, and contribute to automated testing and CI/CD while maintaining coding standards and clear documentation of solutions.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and Written communication skills.
• Experience with multiple disparate systems.
• Experience in Cloud Technologies (AWS / Azure / Google). AWS preferred.
• Proficiency with Python, Java, shell scripting (Bash and Powershell) & SQL.
• Experience with streaming data and data extraction from databases (Oracle, DB2, MySQL).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift in deployment/management.
• Experience with scalable data extraction tools; Kafka, Aurora, AWS Glue, Redshift a plus.
• Understanding of data engineering, streaming/eventing, and json parsing.
• Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, Ansible etc.).
• Experience building microservices and API architecture.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills; proactive communication.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)

• Good verbal and Written communication skills.
• Experience working with multiple disparate systems.

• Experience with automating application deployment, continuous delivery, and continuous integration (Jenkins, Ansible etc.)

• Must have strong oral and written communication skills
• Business Intelligence/Analytics experience a plus

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Airline Industry experience is a plus
