Job summary

Mphasis is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong Core Java, Selenium, and REST API expertise. The role involves building and enhancing automated test scripts and frameworks, leveraging Playwright and Cypress, and applying AWS cloud services in test environments.

Collaborate with QA analysts and software developers in an Agile setting to design robust test strategies, optimize testing processes, and ensure overall software quality across the application lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong in Core Java and Selenium.
• Experience in REST API Automation Testing.
• Playwright/Cypress experience is a must.
• Good knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda).
• Hands-on experience in Java concepts and programming.
• Capability to develop small utility tools in Java.
• Experience in developing automation frameworks.
• Experience in BDD and TestNG.
• Familiar with automated testing processes, data structures, and algorithms.

Looking for Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong Core Java, Selenium and Rest API.

Technical Skills

• Strong in Core Java and Selenium
• Experience in REST API Automation Testing
• Playwright/Cypress experience is a must
• Good Knowledge in AWS Services ( EC2, S3, Cloud Watch, Lamda.etc)
• Handson experience in Java concepts and programming
• Capabilities to develop small utility tools in JAVA
• Experience in Developing Automation framework
• Experience in BDD and TestNG
• Good knowledge of automated testing processes, methodologies and software development lifecycles, and good knowledge on data Structures and algorithms
• Independently design, develop & enhance test automation scripts/framework.
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis
• Collaborating with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions.
• Experience within an Agile/Scrum/ Kanban environment.
• Experience with Jira & ALM
• Good knowledge of database/SQL queries
• Work closely with the team to ensure script implementation comply with best practices and testability requirements
• Work closely with software developers and test engineers to understand software workflows, use cases and specifications in creating automated tests across the application
• Expand automation framework to provide additional test capabilities. Analyze existing systems to find areas for improvement
• Actively participate in an agile development process
