Job summary

BMW TechWorks India Private Limited seeks an experienced Module Lead for the Convertible Roof System. You will lead the roof-system program, manage stakeholders and suppliers, and ensure timely, cost-effective execution from concept to series release.

You will track cost, quality and timing while coordinating cross-functional teams in a global, agile environment. Proficiency in CATIA and BMW change-management processes is essential.

Job description

• Role involves leading the Convertible Roof System, Stakeholder Management and Supplier management.
• Tracking Cost, Quality, timing and Processes for the Roof System.
• Knowledge of BMW data related to the entire vehicle development process .
• The role involves in management of process chain teams including problem analysis and development of manufacturable solutions from concept to series release for the respective component ( roof system ) scope .
• If design changes are required : Implementation of the component ( Roof parts , Fuel filter flap ) changes in CATIA, execution of the change management process up to the release of the CA models in the BMW systems .
• The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Convertible Roof System. ?

What should you bring along

• Min. 15 years of experience in automotive industry or equivalent qualification as Module Lead with relevant experience .
• Experience and deepen knowledge problem analysis and development of manufacturable solutions from concept to series release for the respective component ( roof system ) scope .
• Proven experience with Roof System, must have led the Team of 4 people including lead Engineer and CAD engineers for more than 2 programs.
• Knowledge about Design, Manufacturing of Sheetmetal, plastic parts .
• Extensive knowledge of design release system .
• knowledge of ? Automotive standards
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills , with the ability to lead and mentor .
• Knowledge of BMW work environments is advantageous (PRISMA, NextOne , PQM, IRAM)
• Business fluent knowledge of English ( written and spoken)
