About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Modem BSP Engineer to develop, integrate, debug, validate, and maintain BSP software for Qualcomm-based telematics platforms. The role involves Linux kernel development, device driver customization, modem integration, hardware bring-up, power management, and system-level debugging for automotive connectivity solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain BSP components on Qualcomm platforms.
• Analyze and resolve kernel, device driver, bootloader, and modem-related issues.
• Perform Linux kernel bring-up, customization, and chipset migration activities.
• Support new hardware board bring-up, integration, and validation.
• Debug and optimize boot time, power consumption, thermal performance, and system stability.
• Integrate modem and telematics features into NAD and TCU platforms.
• Perform log analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions.
• Support customer escalations and field issue investigations.
• Collaborate with Qualcomm, OEM customers, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Develop automation scripts for testing, validation, and log analysis.
• Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical capability development.
