Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Systems Engineer to research, design, develop, simulate, and validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, and algorithms for GNSS precise positioning technologies. You will join a strong Location Technology team and work on decimeter to centimeter level accuracies for high-volume products.

Qualcomm Systems Engineers collaborate across functional teams to meet and exceed system-level requirements and standards.

This is an advanced development role in area of GNSS Precise Positioning Technologies.

Successful candidate will be part of a strong Location Technology systems engineering team and will design, simulate and develop advanced algorithms to achieve decimer and centimeter level accuracies in GNSS Positioning for high volume commercial products.

Successful candidate will be responsible for algorithm development, performance predictions, implementation optimizations and oversee software implementation and commercialization of these algorithms into Qualcomm products catering to multiple product lines.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
• OR
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
• OR
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Profile 1: Generic Modem Systems Engineer

• Strong understanding of 4G/5G/6G modem systems and wireless communication fundamentals.
• Experience in system design, performance analysis, feature development, and debugging.
• Familiarity with PHY/MAC/RRC procedures, mobility, positioning, and wireless protocol stacks is desirable.
• Experience with data analysis, log analysis, MATLAB/Python, and system-level simulations.

Profile 2: GNSS Systems Engineer

• Strong understanding of GNSS fundamentals, positioning algorithms, signal processing, and receiver design.
• Experience in GNSS performance evaluation, location technologies, and system-level analysis.
• Familiarity with multi-sensor positioning, L1/L5 processing, and wireless positioning technologies is desirable.
• Experience with MATLAB/Python and large-scale data analysis.

1 to 3year of relevant experience

Qualification: Phd, or Master will relevant experience from department of electronics and communication or Aero Space Engineering
